When I decided to become an entrepreneur, I was working as an employee and it was clear to me that it was not the right time to quit my job. Although my motivation was strong, I knew I needed time to learn and build something solid. I decided to start on my own, although it took me longer than expected to seek outside help. I woke up at 5 a.m. every day to work on my project before going to work, and weekends were dedicated entirely to the venture. I had no social life, but I knew I had to sacrifice to achieve my goals. One of the mistakes I made was launching a project that I wasn’t really passionate about, which led me to realize that I needed to change direction and start over. I learned that entrepreneurship is a process of trial and error, and that it is important to be prepared to fail several times before finding success. My recommendation for those who are starting out in entrepreneurship is to evaluate their resources, both economic and in terms of time and family support. It is crucial to start with peace of mind and enthusiasm, with a clear plan of action and the flexibility to pivot if things do not go as expected. Remember that entrepreneurship is a long-distance race, and it is essential to maintain motivation and perseverance at all times.
