Welcome to Empresaria Nómada! The podcast for restless-minded non-conformists who create, every day, a meaningful life. 🎙️ Sofía Mateo, a restless ass and digital strategist with a penchant for asking why. In this podcast you will find personal reflections, learnings and conversations with inspiring people who create their own path. We talk about entrepreneurship, personal development, travel, marketing and more, from the perspective of those who dare to make a mark and change the status quo. 🎁 By the way, on this website you’ll find cool strategies for businesses that make a beautiful impact. In this episode we’re going to talk about how to create content without dying in the attempt so if you’re an entrepreneur this is of interest to you. Content creation seems like a mandatory task for all businesses and freelancers. But on the other hand, there is already so much content that we tend to suffer from saturation. Let’s explore the concept of imposter syndrome related to content creation, the thought that we are not enough or think we don’t have a fresh point of view. The thought that comes from believing that we don’t know enough about a topic prevents us from showing up and sharing our point of view. In this episode we start from a newsletter by Elena Madrigal, where there is a sentence that really struck me and which said the following:
“Participating in the Creator economy, in the economy of creating content, requires much more commitment than expertise.”
For me this point is key, because if we focus on the experience then we are very likely to suffer from imposter syndrome. There will always be people who know more than we do. Experience is something that comes with time, with practice. That’s why waiting to get to that point will prevent you from taking action and learning a lot more. In this episode we explore ways to get going and create content without dying in the attempt and without holding ourselves back with doubts and syndromes. I hope you enjoy the episode.
