Storydoing, less talking and more doing

Hi! In this episode, we’re going to talk about“Storydoing: Less Talking, More Doing“. I want to show you how we can start developing strategies in our business that are aligned with the brand and generate a movement in our community. I’m going to make it fun and quick, but without discarding to motivate me a little bit, because I love this topic and I think it can give you good ideas for your business! Let’s start with storytelling, the art of telling a story that connects emotionally with your potential customers. What is storydoing? It is an evolution of storytelling where we involve the audience to live the values of our brand. How do we apply this to service companies and to the personal brand of the freelancer? This is where my conclusions come in and a cool example that will inspire you and that you will hear in this episode. We’ll also talk about why it’s important to have well defined the purpose and values of our business, but I’ll tell you in advance that storydoing is based on action. We must demonstrate those values with facts, moving from speech to action. I will tell you about an inspiring example of Hotjar, a digital tool, which decided to veto access to Trump and his team. Why did they do it? Because they consider that Trump is not aligned with their brand values. Surprising, isn’t it? This brings us to the importance of being consistent with our values and actions, even when they are hard to take. Consistency is what differentiates a company that sticks to telling the story from one that actually takes action.
